For parents of competitive athletes

Your kid doesn’t
need another
pep talk.

They need a system for the part of the game nobody else is training.

40 lessons · Lifetime access · Self-paced

“They’re so talented. What’s holding them back is what’s between their ears.”

We hear some version of that from parents almost every week.

Maybe you’ve seen it:

• They’re great in practice, then tight in games.

• One mistake turns into a bad night.

• The car ride home is them replaying every play.

• You’ve heard “Maybe I should just quit.”

It’s not a talent problem. It’s an identity problem.

When your kid’s worth rides on how they played, every game feels like a verdict. That leads to more pressure, less confidence, and playing below what they’re capable of.

The goal isn’t for them to care less. It’s for them to care deeply, compete fully, and know they’re more than their last game.

The Goal

The healthiest competitors aren’t the ones who care less. They care deeply about becoming great without needing performance to prove their worth.

10/10

Committed to your craft.

Ambitious. Disciplined. Fully engaged in becoming excellent.

10/10

Content with who you are.

Grounded enough that one performance doesn’t get to tell you who you are.

Care about the outcome. Commit to the process. Don’t let the result define you.

The same system we use with pro athletes. Now built for your kid.

At BETTER, we coach PGA Tour players, Korn Ferry Tour pros, Division I athletes, and junior athletes as young as 12.

Different sports. Different ages. Different levels. But so much of the work is the same.

We can’t coach every athlete one-on-one. So we turned the exact exercises, questions, and systems we use with our athletes into a course your kid can do on their own.

Four parts. One mental process they can actually use.

1. Fear: Learn to recognize when identity gets tied to performance, and how that fear keeps them from competing freely.

2. Purpose: Get clear on who they want to become through sport, so results don't decide their worth.

3. Drift: Spot the habits and triggers that pull them off their best under pressure, and build real strategies to handle them.

4. Competitive Joy: Compete fully committed to their craft while staying content with who they are, whatever the scoreboard says.

We tell athletes to "trust the process." The Game Within helps them build one.

What's included:

• 40 video lessons

• Guided exercises, workbooks, and reflection tools

• Self-paced, so it fits around practice and school

• Lifetime access to come back to before a big game or after a tough season

• Works for any sport

Mental performance coaching often costs $250 to $500 an hour.

The Game Within gives your athlete the same foundational work we do with our pros, for a one-time $199 introductory price.

Ages 12 to 18 are some of the most important years to build healthy mental habits. Not just to perform better, but to become healthier people with a relationship with sport that serves them instead of consuming them.
